The Foundation

The Generationally Speaking Foundation

The Generationally Speaking Foundation was set up by Alastair Greener to support charities that help disadvantaged children and young people to thrive. It is funded by £1 from the sale of every physical copy of his book, Generationally Speaking, published on 3 November 2025. The first charity supported is Positive Social, and suggestions for children's charities are welcome.

The Generationally Speaking Foundation

Alastair is optimistic about the emerging generations and the part they will play in shaping the world. He is also clear-eyed that many disadvantaged children and young people need extra support to get there. The Generationally Speaking Foundation exists to give some of it.

How it is funded

£1 from the sale of every physical copy of Generationally Speaking: How to Bridge the Generation Gap and Communicate with Confidence goes to the Foundation. The book went on sale on 3 November 2025, so every paperback bought since then, from Waterstones, Amazon or directly from Alastair, has added to the fund.

Who it supports

The Foundation donates to charities that provide practical support to disadvantaged children and young people. The first is Positive Social, founded by Mark Saxby, a guest on the podcast, which works with young people, families and schools on their relationship with social media.

More charities will be added over time. If you know a children's charity the Foundation should consider, please email foundation@generationallyspeaking.co.uk with a line about what it does.

Reporting

Totals raised and donations made will be published on this page as the book sales come in from the publisher and retailers. Please check back, or ask if you would like an update.

Buy the book and £1 goes to the Foundation.
